Adfam is the leading national organisation working with and for families affected by drugs and alcohol.

 

Adfam provides direct support to families through publications, training, prison visitors’ centres, outreach work and signposting to local support services. As the voice of families the charity provides consultation on best practice in drug and alcohol related family work and have written several guides for professionals and commissioners.

DrugScope

DrugScope is the national membership organisation for the drug sector and the leading independent centre of expertise on drugs and drug policy.

 

DrugScope’s aim is to inform policy development and reduce drug-related harms - to individuals, families and communities. The charity quality drug information, promotes effective responses to drug use, advises on policy-making, encourages informed debate - particularly in the media - and speak for its member working across the drug and alcohol sectors.

eATA

eATA is the largest membership organisation for the independent drug and alcohol treatment and aftercare sector.

 

eATA’s aim is to ensure that people with substance dependencies get the treatment they need. The charity works with providers, referrers, commissioners and policymakers to improve access and quality in the sector. Through its presence on working groups and at consultation events, eATA is able to continually raise the concerns and needs of the independent sector.

The Alliance

The Alliance is a user led organisation which provides advocacy, training and helpline services to those currently in drug or alcohol treatment, those who have accessed treatment in the past and those who may access treatment in the future.

 

The Alliance actively promotes the participation and involvement of drug and alcohol users in its work. Service users and professionals work together as equals in a unique initiative to give drug and alcohol users a real voice.
